Gokariba.com is a well established tour operator based in Kariba, Zimbabwe. We specialise in all inclusive, fully catered and self catered houseboat charters on Lake Kariba. Including accommodation on the mainland or at one of our selected island lodges on the lake. Our services also extend to transferring passengers to and from Kariba as well as across the lake to your final destination and back. Last but not least we run a reputable houseboat and property management service for customers owning assets in Kariba but who live elsewhere. The houseboats in our portfolio range from comfortable yet budget friendly "bachelor party" style vessels, to affordable and upmarket family boats right through to luxurious cruisers.

Meet The Team

Our staff compliment has over 17 years combined experience in tourism, catering and houseboat management, and have been residents of Kariba for a total of 25 years. We like to think that we know what we are talking about when it comes to Kariba and what it has to offer!

	Kiara Hammond spent her school holidays barefoot and fishing off her father's boat on lake Kariba. She followed her heart home in 2004 after working abroad and became a full time Kariba resident. She has 7 years experience within the boating industry in Kariba, and after working for Marineland Harbour (also a large houseboat operator) she established Gokariba.com in 2008. Kiara is the Director of the company and is in charge of the day to day running of all aspects of the business.		HOUSEBOATS

	Tracy Reid was brought up in Kariba, and after living in the UK for a while, returned to her home town in 2000. A Kariba resident for over 10 years Tracy has immeasurable local knowledge and works as a Travel Consultant in the office. Tracy works side by side with Kiara handling all enquiries. Tracy has a professional approach to work and guides clients through the process of booking their holiday, from the initial enquiry to their arrival in Kariba. Always with a big smile, quick humour and a readiness to help out, Tracy is part of the efficient, personal and on the ground back up service that we strive to offer our clients. 	Linda Tew has over 10 years experience in catering for functions and houseboats. Her culinary expertise is thoroughly enjoyed by all Kariba residents lucky enough to be invited to "Sunday Roasts" at the Tews! A resident for 8 years Linda knows the capabilities of most boat crew Chefs, and has worked closely with many of them developing our menus. Linda prepares most of our catering herself and we pride ourselves on the fact that most of what we provide you with is home made with a lot of love.		(below) a monohull or cruiser type houseboat
